Finding the charging station to fill up your electric carwith electrons is getting easier and easier!
Milan, December 26, 2020 – Following the agreements and the necessary IT integrations, interoperability was activated between the charging network for electric vehicles Be Charge and NEXTCHARGE by GoElectricStations, a company engaged in the dissemination of ecological culture through the creation of services aimed at widespread and facilitated use. of electric cars. All users of the NEXTCHARGE platform can therefore find on the NEXTCHARGE App the Be Charge charging points installed throughout the country, by accessing information on the location of the stations, the power available, the type of socket and the access methods. Since its inception, Be Charge has supported interoperability in charging services for sustainable mobility and for this reason it has finalized numerous agreements, both in Italy and in Europe, to make its charging networks increasingly accessible. The activation of interoperability with NEXTCHARGE by GoElectricStations is fully part of Be Charge’s European roaming strategy which will see a strong acceleration in the coming months with the participation of other Mobility Service Providers.
“The agreement with NEXTCHARGE by GoElectricStations represents an important step towards an open model that allows the use of our network of charging infrastructures to the widest possible audience – said Roberto Colicchio, Head of Business Development at Be Charge -. The goal of making life easier for electric vehicle drivers passes through partnerships with the various players in the supply chain, such as the NEXTCHARGE platform by GoElectricStations. As Charge Point Operator (CPO) we guarantee all Mobility Service Providers (MSP) access to a widespread and reliable charging network “.
“We are happy that our users can access the Be Charge charging network – said Francesco Barrile, co-founder of Go Electric Stations – who shares our same spirit of making the life of the electric motorist as fluid as possible. We are convinced that this partnership will bring further benefits to all “electric” drivers thanks to the integration of the Be Charge network, one of the most widespread and efficient in the country “.
Be Charge’s industrial plan provides for the installation throughout the country of about 30,000 recharging points over the next 3-5 years that will supply 100% energy from renewable sources, for a total investment of over 150 million euros. Customer service is fully digitized both in processes and in the interface thanks to a dedicated App. The Be Charge App covers the entire national network, is easy to use, allows smart charging, electronic payment by showing the availability of charging points in real time and keeping the history of top-ups and related payments made.
